IT'S ME AND I'M BACK FROM THE BUSIEST WEEK EVER!

Hi, it's me again and I just recently have had the busiest week of my life!
Between studying for two very important finals (yay) and moving out of my apartment while still trying to spend time my friends before leaving for the summer, really took time out of my week. I'm back now and since then I took an eight and a half hour drive across Texas back home to El Paso. Not only was I welcomed back by my sweet momma waiting outside to welcome me home but both of my wonderful parents surprised me with a little apartment that they built for me in our backyard so that I could have my own space. HOW SWEET ARE THEY! Check out these pics!

Since I got a little bit off schedule last week and was not able to post, I think it is only right to talk about what I did to prepare myself and keep everything as organized as possible for my big move.

Let's start off with coffee, my number one go-to beverage when I am cramming all day. I was able to work alongside my classmates through study groups and tutoring sessions available through my university to prepare myself in the best way possible. I had to make sure I had the correct dates and times for my finals and have them written in my planner so I would not forget, and when they are not scheduled on a day you would normally have class it can get pretty confusing. Most of my finals were cumulative which meant it was everything we learned from the beginning of the semester to the end and with that much paperwork it can all get confusing. Here's my trick, go to your professors office hours and ask about the sections that you should focus on. If you go the extra mile your professors can help put together a review that can better prepare you for the exam. This is my best advice for finals, get up and go to the library so you can focus. Trust me, if you study in your room you will hop in your bed and call it a day. Grab some caffeine and tell yourself you can do it, you're your best motivation. Now that I am happy at home I know that all of my hard work throughout the week was worth it. Study hard so when that last final finishes you're free for a few months.

There is so much I am so grateful for this semester and so many great memories I made. I have OFFICIALLY finished my SOPHOMORE year of college (but really how crazy is that). Along with great memories there is so much negative energy I have learned to let go. I won't lie to you, this semester was rough, I faced many challenges inside and outside of the classroom because of the high expectations I held for myself.  I learned a lot about growing up and how to deal with situations you never thought you would be involved in. Being able to go through these situations and learn from them has really opened my mind and taught me to allow positive energy to take over and since then I have been SO happy. Being able to accept that not everything is going to be perfect 100% of the time is the first step, it's okay to grow and sometimes not everyone will understand. At the end of the day your focus should be about where you see yourself going and how you handle any challenge that is thrown your way. Enjoy life and don't let the little things bother you, forgive and forget, and continue to grow and shine.

I expect so much for the summer and fall semester and I cannot wait to share them with you! Here is to a great semester and to an even better summer!
